Risks of Hacking 360 to play xbox 1 games?

Hi, hows it going

i got a 360 recently and i’ve got halo 3, xbox live gold etc.. all the usual stuff one does on the 360 and i read all the homebrew scene stuff, flashing the rom firmware burning dual layer thats all good but..

i was thinking of hacking it just to play the xbox 1 games like underground 2, halo 2 etc i still buy 360 games original like forza and liberty city stories (more like trade them in) so all the games that i’d play online will be original but my questions more on how do microsoft tell if you’re 360 is hacked? is it only during online play like if i where playing a pirate halo 3 than you get banned forever but what if i only played xbox 1 games burned while actual 360 games real, would that still result in ban?

Hacking is hacking no matter what games you want to play. Your 360 is detected when you connect to Xbox Live. It doesn’t matter if you only play legal copies or never play multiplayer. If you’re connected to Live, you will be caught and banned. You have to make a choice if you would rather steal games or use Xbox Live. If you choose to steal, you don’t get Live. You can’t do both on one console.
There’s no point in modding to steal original Xbox games anyway as most of the popular ones like Halo 2 are backwards compatible so the 360 will play a legit copy.
