Getting started on the game board?
I simply love playing games. That s what they grow. That s what I do with my friends now. I would like work on the design of board games / playing cards / games. How I can find an entry level position in the game table or the toy industry work on the concept, development and the overall design of the game (or work with this)? I graduated in 2005 with degrees in philosophy and journalism graduate. Today working in television, with no professional experience of game design. Warning: I am not asking that the video game design or development of software, unless a way of working the game.
A great place to ask this question is Boardgamegeek.com. That is, hands down, the place to go if you are board games. Let me say, though, being a board game design is a "bit like wanting to be an artist. It might make you happy, but is unlikely to make a living. It is not can do, but there are plenty of games design talent out there that barely make a living, or do as a hobby and still have a real job too. Also, if this is something you are passionate about, giving aa shot. You may be able to do something with it.
